The Leading Hotels of the World

The Leading Hotels of the World is an exclusive collection of the world’s finest hotels and resorts, currently comprising more than 400 establishments in 75 countries.

Members range from unique design hotels to large resorts and world-renowned luxury hotels. Hotel Continental has been a member of The Leading Hotels of the World since 1975 and is the only hotel in Oslo to hold this prestigious membership. In Norway, only two hotels are part of this elite group: Hotel Continental in Oslo and Britannia Hotel in Trondheim.

To be considered for membership, a hotel must be in a luxury category and satisfy very stringent standards for accommodation, service, cuisine and various facilities. These aspects are significant for the guest’s experience of comfort, convenience and atmosphere.
