A new pizza favorite in the middle of the city? Yes, Casbar delivers the goods.
The young waiters are friendly and fun, and contribute to a good experience. The oblong eatery is informal, with colorful graffiti all over the wall in front of the kitchen where the chefs roll out new pizza bases.
One of the keys to good pizza is good ingredients. The pepperoni version offers a delicious taste of San Marzano tomatoes, plenty of mozzarella and pepperoni, lots of jalapeño, oregano and a lovely chili honey to counteract all the salt. Not too sweet, but a slightly sweet and warm note.
