Oslo Airport (OSL) is located at Gardermoen about 50 km north of Oslo and there are several options to get to Oslo city center and Hotel Continental.
Flytoget runs six times an hour to Oslo Central Station. Three of these departures bring you to Nationaltheatret station (27 minutes) which is just across the street from Hotel Continental. Airport Taxi has an information desk in the arrivals hall at Oslo Airport Gardermoen. The taxi ride takes approximately 50 minutes and costs from NOK 800* depending on the taxi company, number of passengers and time of day. See price overview for Oslo Taxi.

Follow the E6 towards Oslo for approx. 40 minutes. Drive through Vålerengatunnelen, then Ekebergtunnelen and in Operatunnelen turn off to "Sentrum Vest". After the tunnel, take the first right down Dronning Mauds gate. At the roundabout, turn left up Haakon VII's gate. Then take the second right at the traffic lights up Munkedamsveien. Turn right at the first roundabout down Stortingsgaten. After approx. 100 meters you will see Hotel Continental on your right.
Torp-Expressen from Sandefjord Airport Torp is adapted to most international departures and arrival times. The bus runs to Oslo Bus Terminal and the driving time is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. For more information, read here.
Follow the E6 towards Oslo. Approximately 60 minutes after the border at Svinesund, you will reach the Nordbytunnel. After passing the Tusenfryd amusement park on your left, follow the E6 towards Oslo. After approx. 15 minutes, turn right towards Ryen. Take the second exit at the roundabout into Svartdalstunnelen. Keep left in the tunnel and follow signs for "Sentrum Vest". In the Opera Tunnel, turn off to "Sentrum Vest". After the tunnel, take the first right down Dronning Mauds gate. At the roundabout, turn left up Haakon VII's gate. Then take the second right at the traffic lights up Munkedamsveien. Turn right at the first roundabout down Stortingsgaten. After approx. 100 meters you will see Hotel Continental on your right.
If you arrive in the city with your own car, you can park in our garage by arrangement. There are also several 24-hour parking garages near the hotel.
We have 10 parking spaces in the CareCenter garage in the basement. CareCenter offers interior and exterior washing and polish, and is happy to prepare the car for you during your stay.
Parking and car care must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance and capacity is limited.
Parking is at the owner's own risk and the vehicle must be insured for another driver.
