Theatercaféen is an iconic restaurant in Oslo that has been a popular meeting place since it opened in 1900. Known for its classic interior with a vibrant atmosphere, the restaurant has been a gathering place for artists, actors and cultural personalities over the years.
The menu offers both classic dishes and modern touches that are just as suitable for a glass of wine as for lunch and dinner. If you're a large group, we have a chambre separée with room for 36 people. If you're dining alone, our bar counter is a pleasant alternative.

Monday to Saturday from 11:00 - 23:00 (the kitchen is open until 22:00)
Sunday from 16:00 - 22:00 (the kitchen is open until 21:00)
Please note: Theatercaféen is closed for four weeks every summer, mainly in the month of July.
